MORRISTOWN, N.J., October 2018 – Morris Habitat for Humanity will kick off the revitalization of Pocahontas Park on Thursday, October 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the help of a team of volunteers from Wells Fargo.
Morris Habitat for Humanity will celebrate the culmination of its Blitz Build with home dedications and ribbon cuttings. More than 1,500 volunteers came together to build three homes in just 10 days in Mine Hill, N.J. to provide decent, safe and affordable homes for families in need.

MINE HILL, N.J., May 29, 2018 – Morris Habitat for Humanity is taking on one of its most ambitious projects yet—building three new homes in just 10 days.
MINE HILL, N.J., May 7, 2018 – More than 85 women construction volunteers are joining together on May 7 – May 12 to help local families build decent and affordable homes in Mine Hill, N.J. The project is part of the 11th annual Habitat for Humanity’s National Women Build Week, which also spotlights the homeownership challenges facing women.
A Blitz Build is a concentrated effort to build a house with a radically accelerated timeline. The Mine Hill project includes three affordable, new construction homes; a fourth existing home will receive some light rehab work. The Blitz Build event is focused on the three new homes.
MORRISTOWN, N.J., April 30, 2018–Volunteers from businesses and the community will converge upon Beyer Ford dealership in Morristown, N.J. on May 3 – 4 to frame walls for the future home of a U.S. Army veteran. The event is the first phase of Morris Habitat’s Blitz Build project this summer, which will culminate in the completion of four affordable homes in just ten days in Mine Hill. Radio stations WDHA and WMTR will be broadcasting live from the Morristown build site each day.
