Dedication – Settler’s Ridge, Washington Township – Thursday, January 25, 2024

Settler’s Ridge, Washington Township
Dedication Ceremony

A Warm Welcome Home to Syreeta and Her Family

We were so excited to celebrate the dedication last month of Syreeta’s new four-bedroom home on a quiet, wooded lot in Washington Township. The home will provide much-needed space indoors and out to Syreeta and her three children.

Nearly 40 people helped us mark this joyous occasion, including Washington Township Mayor Matthew Murello, P.E., architect Seth Leeb, Stacey Moore of Lakeland Bank, Eric from Gunner Roofing and Paul Nigro from Travelers. Members of the Morris Habitat Faithful Crew also attended. Whether they volunteered their time, provided pro-bono professional services, or donated land and other resources, each played a role in Syreeta’s homeownership journey.

“We know Syreeta will fill her home with many years of love and laughter. I am so excited for Syreeta’s three children because they will grow up with all the benefits we know a safe, stable and affordable home provides. They are our future — and I am excited for what their future holds for them,” Morris Habitat CEO Liz DeCoursey said.

A huge thank you to the professional team and others who contributed to this project’s success but were unable to attend the dedication, including: Eikon Planning & Design, Jim Mullen, Infiltrator Water Technologies, Stewart Surveying & Engineering and Faegre Drinker.
