The one-acre property, located in the Indian Lake section, was split from thirty-three acres bought by Denville to be used for open space. Proceeds from the sale to Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity offset part of the township’s purchase costs. Denville Mayor, Ted Hussa, has a personal connection to the project since the street is named for his grandfather, who once owned the property.
