Thanks for coming to our Annual Meeting & Volunteer Recognition Reception on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at the Presbyterian Church Parish House in Morristown. After socializing and light refreshments, we celebrated our accomplishments in 2018, which expanded our impact in the greater Morris County area. We expect 2019 to be just as busy, exciting and productive.
Last year, Morris Habitat helped 42 local families, 9 through homeownership and 33 through Neighborhood Revitalization and Aging in Place home repair projects. More than 550 groups volunteered with Morris Habitat, providing 90,141 hours of labor. The ReStore, our retail operation that supports our mission, exceeded its sales goal to provide funding to build and preserve homes.
In 2018, Morris Habitat completed its most ambitious project to date, the Blitz Build on Randall Avenue in Mine Hill, and launched our largest build, 12 homes for 12 families on Main Street in Succasunna.
We recognized some of our many invaluable volunteers and partners who have gone above and beyond to ensure our success.
