Thank you to everyone – supporters, attendees, volunteers – who joined us for Morris Habitat for Humanity’s 14th Annual Hearts & Hammers Gala! More than 300 people attended our signature fundraiser on Feb. 23, which highlighted our 121 Main Street project in Succasunna – 12 homes for 12 families. Your partnership will help these Morris Habitat families realize the dream of owning an affordable home and the promise of healthier, brighter futures.
New homeowner Ran Andrade was the evening’s featured speaker. Ran and his wife, Gladis, and their children, Kevin and Jocelyn, moved into their Morris Habitat home in June 2018. Ran told the audience how homeownership has brought his family joy, stability and dignity.
“We have a safe, healthy home where everyone in my family has their own space,” Ran said. “With your help, Gladis and I are providing a strong, stable foundation for Kevin and Jocelyn, and we know they will thrive.”
