Put on your work clothes and join us at “WDHA’s Hammer for Heroes” on Thursday and Friday, May 3 and 4, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (rain or shine). This is your chance to swing a hammer and to frame walls that will be used for a future Morris Habitat home.
105.5 WDHA FM will be broadcasting live from the build site at Beyer Ford in Morristown each day from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Their disc jockeys will be working side by side with the other volunteers at each morning and afternoon build shift.
This year’s event is dedicated to future homeowner family Tiffany Giacchino and John Freudenberg and their daughter, who will reside at our Randall Avenue project in Mine Hill. John is a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Afghanistan.
How Do I Get Involved?
Become a corporate sponsor of the event.
If you have some influence with your boss (or if you are the big boss), then we’d love to put your business’ name up in lights as a big sponsor of this incredible event. Your employees will be able to participate as volunteers.
For information on sponsorship opportunities, contact Christopher Palazzi, Chief Development Officer, by email or by phone at 973.632.9680.
If you don’t have the time to join us at the build, you can donate the money to buy construction materials for the project.
Volunteer spots are reserved for sponsors first, but you can be on our waiting list for this event on May 3 and May 4 and for our Randall Avenue Blitz Build in Mine Hill from June 6 through June 16. Sign up now to become a volunteer and help bang some nails.
