Project:
This new single-family home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a basement and a detached garage. Plans were contributed by architect Asdrubal Franco of domoarchitecture.
The land was purchased from the City of Plainfield in October 2018. Union County awarded Morris Habitat a HUD HOME Investment Partnerships Program grant for the project.
In spite of the heavy snowfall, the basement and foundation were finished in February 2021. During Women Build Month in May 2021, volunteers put up siding. The project was completed in fall 2021.
