The anonymous donor of our previous project at 27 Hazel Street made a second generous gift of this building next door. Yellow siding was used on the renovated duplex in honor of the full-house sponsorship of Weichert, Realtors, a company known for the yellow signs in front of its houses for sale. Many enthusiastic women participated in our first Women Build days in May 2015. Seven volunteers aged 19 – 22 from AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) worked here 2 days a week for 6 weeks in the fall of 2015. Over 2,700 volunteers spent 20,000 hours working on this home.
