Build #80: completed 2017 – first partnership with Paterson Habitat for Humanity
Type:
- Single-family home
- Rehab
- 3 bedrooms
A house in the Upper Greenwood Lake section of West Milford in Passaic County was vacant for several years due to a foreclosure. Unfortunately, while it sat empty, it sustained roof damage and was no longer habitable. Morris Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with Paterson Habitat for Humanity, rehabilitated the home by demolishing a large portion of the structure and utilizing the existing foundation to rebuild a two-story home with three bedrooms and one-and-a-half bathrooms. The large detached garage is in good condition and will remain on the property.
The home was generously donated in September 2015 by Wells Fargo through their Community and Urban Stabilization Program (CUSP) and the National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST). Wells Fargo gave an additional cash donation for repairs due to the condition of the home.
Family:
Paul Aiazzone and Koren Bilenski have two sons. Paul works for a stair company and Koren is a stay-at-home mom. They are very excited to be moving back to their home town.
