Morris Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with Paterson Habitat for Humanity, rehabilitated a two-story home. Renovation work on this first Habitat for Humanity home in the City of Passaic included a new roof, siding, windows and a front porch. The home is equipped with EPA WaterSense fixtures and other energy-efficient systems.
Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church sold the home to Morris Habitat at a significantly discounted price due to the renovation costs. The City of Passaic awarded Morris Habitat a HOME Investment Partnerships Program grant in the amount of $60,000 for the project.
