On Saturday, February 25, 2017, Morris Habitat for Humanity will host our 12th Annual Hearts & Hammers Gala at the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph. Please join us as we honor our partners, celebrate our success and plan for a future where everyone has a decent place to live. The special guest speaker will be 18-year-old Junior Rondon, the son of Morris Habitat homeowners at the Carlton Street project. He will talk about his parents’ struggle to immigrate from the Dominican Republic and what it means to them to achieve the American dream of homeownership.
Come raise a glass and feast on exotic hors d’oeuvres, a delicious full-course meal and tempting desserts. Take time to shop at our silent auction, featuring unique gift ideas for the home and for you. End your memorable evening by dancing to the swinging music of Escapade, an exciting band that includes guitarist Robert Rosenberger, who is a homeowner at our Carlton Street project.
This is an exciting time for Morris Habitat! We’re halfway into a strategic plan which calls for us to serve 230 families in four years. During 2017, we will be on track to reach that goal, with 50 homes under construction through our local and international programs. Of course, none of this would be possible without your help.
Please consider contributing to the success of the Gala. Any donation you make will help ensure that our Habitat families right here in New Jersey can raise their children closer to their jobs, live in safer neighborhoods, have more time together as a family and feel confident about the future. You can donate an item for the silent auction by using either the online or printed registration form.
Your support has given all of us the hope and encouragement to move forward to solve the affordable housing crisis in Morris County. We look forward to celebrating with you in February!
Individual ticket price is $250.
Sponsorships start at $1,000. If you reserve your Gala sponsorship by Wednesday, November 30, your organization will be listed in our Gala invitation.
